She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Smith; her sons, Dan Smith and Jim Nixon; her grandson Bill; her parents, Rudy Petzke and Pearl Petzke; her sister Edna; and her brother-in-law Joe Atkinson.

She is survived by: her children, Deb Smith, Doug and Martha Smith; her grandchildren, Tim (Amanda), Greg (Erica), Laura (Jeff), Jason (Shannon) and Derek (Marcia); her great grandchildren, Daniel, Megan, Lilly, Lucas, Logan, Piper, Lauryn (Justin), Malcolm, Haden, Cohen, Halle and Connor; and her siblings-in-law, Elson Smith, Harold, Mary Smith and Ruth Smith.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society Huron Perth would be appreciated by the family.
