He was predeceased by: his brother Gordon Coyne; his brothers-in-law, Gary Nash and Danny Nash; his parents, Mike Coyne and Mary Coyne; his parents-in-law, Jim and Ginette Nash; and his nephews, Mike Coyne, Tim, Matthew and Mark Schoonderwoerd.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Coyne (Nash); his children, Joel, Brittany Schenk and Danny Schenk; his siblings, Patsy (Pete Feddema), Ken Coyne, Joanne (Clem Schoonderwoerd), Jean Thompson, Larry (Anne Coyne), Pauline (Pat Deveraux) and Kevin (Geraldine Coyne); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene, Dave Devries, John Mark Nash, Mary Therese, Bert DeGraff, Jim, Tracey Nash, Bobby, Eileen Nash, Tammy and Grant McKellar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (22 Victoria St, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0).
