He was predeceased by: his former wife Marie Scoins (Stone); his parents, Norman Scoins and Ina Scoins; and his brother Ronald Scoins. He is survived by: his wife Lois Scoins (McLachlan); his children, Raymond Scoins, Pam Proper (David) and Gail Redford (Paul); his grandchildren, Raymond Scoins, Shae-Lynne Norman (Clayton), Andrew Proper, Derek Proper (Aniela), Kyle Redford (Emily) and Lucas Redford; his great grandchildren, Colt Proper and Noa Proper; and his siblings-in-law, Mayda Scoins, June, Don, Jack, Mary Helen, Glen, Linda, Carol, Gus and Kim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (87 Goderich St W, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0).
