He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Traher and Marvenna Traher (More); and his sisters, Marianne (John Merrifield), Beverly (Fred Hunter), Sheila (Jerry McNamara) and Ginny (George Sloan).

He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Traher (Thomson). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
