He was predeceased by : his parents, June Maxwell (Dupee) and Wally Maxwell. He is survived by : his friend Nancy; his children, Heather Martin (Chris), Samantha Maxwell, Stacey Dodge (Aaron) and Mike Maxwell; his grandchildren, Garren, Diesel, Jakob, Mathew, Sean, Jordyn, Landon, Savannah, Sophie and Mia; his siblings, Susan Morden (Jamie), Michael Maxwell, Sheila Labine (Rene) and Shelley Hampton; and his pug Percy.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
