He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie Cox; his parents, Brinson Cox and Olive Cox; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Cindy), Shaun (Jennifer), Jason, Josh (Rebecca) and Dustin (Candace); his grandchildren, Aaron, Samantha, Morgan, Drayson, Zachary, Mason, Cody, Jamie, Jasey, Eva, Emma, Cassidy, Shelby and Carson; and his sister Diane (Vern). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
