He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bald and Dorothy Bald (Schineman); and his uncle Richard Schineman (Dickie). He is survived by: his significant other Maria Van Straaten; his children, Corbin and Abigail Van Straaten; and his parents-in-law, David, Julie, Daniel, Ali, Michael, Sally, Theresa, Steven, Cristin, William, Brittany, Bill and Annie. He is also survived by his godchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donation may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association (Agricultural Wellness Ontario) through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
