He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Salter and Hazel Salter (Robertson); his siblings, Shirley Wilhelm (Russ), Charles Jr., Fred and William (Bill); and his granddaughter Karlee.
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Wolfe); his children, Sandy Halls (Gary), Brian (Sheila) and Paul (Sue); his grandchildren, Braeden Halls (Stephanie), Hayley Jones (David), Luke Salter (Ashlyn), Devin Salter (Megan), Rachel Aitcheson (Jalen), Nicole Wilpstra (Nick) and Natalie Salter (Mike); and his sisters-in-law, Norma Salter, Glenda Salter, Donalda Salter, Elsie McKone-Pierce, Eunice Wolfe, Diane Wolfe and Muriel Scott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Ron's memory may be made to Rotary Hospice, SickKids Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
