Alice Ann Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2025, at the age of 79, Alice Ann Jones (Shelburne, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Alice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Alice may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alice leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Statira Mertens and Clifford Mertens; her sister Ethel (Corry); her husband Barry Robert; her daughters, Alyssa (Murray Kaye) and Anita (Brian DeJong); and her grandchildren, Calysta, Chloe (Kaye), Rayleen and Nicole (DeJong).
In respect of her fervent attachment to 4-H Ontario, donations to this organization would be appropriate.
