George Rideout Obituary

We announce the death of George Rideout (Shelburne, Ontario), who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 89. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his siblings, Winnie and Joseph. He is survived by: his children, David Fillier (Maureen), James Fillier (Ann) and Nancy Hodder (Steve); his great grandchildren, Jack Fillier and Huxley Fillier; and his siblings, Millie, Jean, Elsie, Harvey and Margaret. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
