She was predeceased by: her husband John Kichler; her parents, Matthew Lewang and Mary Lewang; and her siblings, Barbara (late Adam Hahn), Frank (late Marylou), Stefen, Eva and John.
She is survived by: her son Rick Kichler (Chris); her grandchildren, David (Aubyn), Emily (Zebb Szatrowski) and Lin Kichler (late Craig); her great grandchildren, Bronwyn Rowsell and Claire (Luke Johnson); her grandson Bob Kichler (Jan); her great grandchildren, Ryan (Kari), Leah (Rich Bizien) and Kyle (Robyn); her granddaughter Cindy Bergen (Dan); her great grandchildren, Michelle (Robbie Tracey), Sophie, Arlo, Oliver, Nadia, Max, Tasman, Kade, Colt, Indy, Cassian, Remy, Harper, Blake and Logan; her sister Rose (late Tony Shaman); Mary Kichler, Frank (late Pauline), Katy (late Steve Szuc), Eva (late Tony Bedesky) and Joe (late Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A Mass was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (211 Union St, Simcoe, ON N3Y2B3). A burial was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (196 Victoria St, Simcoe, ON N3Y4K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or St. Vincent de Paul Society are greatly appreciated.
