He was predeceased by: his parent Allan Dearden; his siblings, Susan and Peter; his brother-in-law Don Brown; and his nephew James Chute.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Brown, Joan Dearden, Deborah Chute (David), Jim Dearden (Judy) and Marylynne Clyne (Doug); his friend Elsie Drummond; his close friend Maggie Hann; and his parent Margaret Dearden. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
