She was predeceased by: her husband Louis DeSerrano; her children, Ruth and Anthony; her parents, Hermina Matuscin and Alexander Matuscin; and her siblings, Anna Solin, Stephan Matuscin, Helen Fodor, John Matuscin and Christina Doctorchik.
She is survived by: her children, Louis (Sally), Lorraine, Christine Harrop (Eric), Joan Pringle (Fraser), Robert (Lisa), David and James; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Julian, Stefanie, Christopher, Laura, Craig, Amanda, Matthew, Bowman, Desiree, Natalie, Jack and Emma; her caregiver Shannon; and her great-niece Ashley. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ferris Funeral Home (214 Norfolk St S, Simcoe, ON N3Y2W4). Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (211 Union St, Simcoe, ON N3Y2B3). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery (271 Fourteenth Street West, Simcoe, ON N3Y4K6).
