It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Joyce Aitken (Simcoe, Ontario), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Heath and Margurite Heath; her close friend Jim Aitken; and her brother George Heath. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Aitken and Michael Aitken (Tricia); her grandchildren, Nathan (Ai), Sheldon, Abbey and Aimee; and her great grandchildren, Kohaku and True. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Ferris Funeral Home (214 Norfolk St S, Simcoe, ON N3Y2W4). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Vittoria Baptist Cemetery.
