She was predeceased by: her mothers, Bernice Dalton and Mildred Dalton; her husband Raymond Smith; her son Rick Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Parker and Gwen Rice (Ken).

She is survived by: her children, Lyle Smith (Jeannie), Lynn Carpenter (Rick) and Bart Smith; her grandchildren, Jeff, Amanda, Stacey, Melissa, Chris, Jennifer (Ian), Riley, Tyler and Matthew; her sister Sharon Rose; and her brothers-in-law, Colin Smith (Karen), Ross Smith (Vicky), Ron Parker and Aaron Hamm.
