He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Doerksen (Voth); and his siblings, Mary Lodde, Lena Hamm, Peggy Hamm, Anna Doerksen, Kathleen Hiebert, David and Jacob.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Doerksen of Long Point, John Doerksen of Simcoe and Barbara Shantz (Steve) of Saint John; his siblings, Abram Doerksen (Helen) and Ella Kendall; and his sisters-in-law, Velda Johnston, Lydia Reimer and Jessie Tyrrell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
