She was predeceased by: her spouse Donald Gerrett; and her sister Betty Sherk. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Long (Angie) of Brantford and Kary Long (Melody) of Bath; and her great grandchildren, Stephen, Jacob (Holly), Coby, Jude, Kevin, Jared (Kristin), Caleb (Brittany), Daniel, Callum and Nolan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and many special friends.
