It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Joseph Murphy of Simcoe, Ontario, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Annette; his daughter Sandra Ramirez; his siblings, Michael Murphy and Joanne Murphy; and his father Charles Akinloye.

He is survived by : his children, Paula Herr (Ed), Bill Murphy (Christine), Chuck Murphy (Sandra) and Dan Murphy (Kathy); his grandchildren, Anali (Dustin), Alex (Cole), Daniel (Courtney), Meaghan, Candace (Michael), Eric (Chanel), Grace, Maeve, Aoife, Madison, Wolfgang and Xavier; and his siblings, Patricia O'Leary (late Terry), Lorraine McDonald (late Graham), Elizabeth Murphy, Daniel Murphy (Brenda), David Murphy (Nancy) and William Murphy (Barb). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

If so desired, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Alzheimer's Society.
