He was predeceased by: his wife June Hutchinson (Bulmer); and his siblings, Bob, Ted, Allan and Betty Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Ferris (Cheri) of Ohio, USA, Sue Bird (Randy), Foymount, David Ferris (Pat), Rockford, Lynda Baker (Tom) and Simcoe; and his sister Marion Smith. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
