He was predeceased by: his son Daniel (Dan); his parents, Sophia Lewko and Dan Lewko; his sister Jeanette Oucharek (Emil); his parent-in-law Robert Patterson; his siblings-in-law, Karen Patterson, Robert Patterson, Allan Patterson and Rae Patterson; and also Allison Patterson.

He is survived by: his spouse Barbara (Patterson); his child Sonia Lewko; his grandchildren, Abbie Gibbons and Kara Gibbons; and his brother John Lewko (Anne).
