Donald Steve Palanio Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 90, Donald Steve Palanio (Simcoe, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Palanio and Pearl Palanio; his former wife Eleanor Jackson; and his brother Alan Violet Palanio. He is survived by: his spouse Marie-Prevost Palanio; his stepgrandchildren, Michel Prevost (Jennifer Zaremba) of Manitoulin Island, ON, Julie Savignac (Andre) of Verner, ON, Alexander, Nicholas, Natalie, Josee and Anne; his sister Gladys Pasterjak (late John); his nephews, Bill (Eva) and Ken (Barb); his cousin Linda Krick; his pet Aimee; and his sweet feline Kitty.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
