Douglas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Douglas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Douglas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his father Tony DeCoensel. He is survived by: his mother Donna DeCoensel; his significant other Arlene Trembley; his sister Karen Erauw (Dave Erauw); and his nieces, Dondréa Erauw (Garrett Mcelver) and Livia Pieare (Brett Pieare).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Greens at Renton (969 Concession 14 Townsend, Simcoe, ON N3Y4K3).

If so desired, donations may be made in Doug's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
