He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Depner; his grandson Noah; his sister Marie Schaeffer; his siblings-in-law, Sue Hall (late Don), George Hofgraff, Anna Vanderlip (Harold) and Linda Louise Hofgraff; his godson Brian Schaeffer; his niece Kathleen Depner; and his nephew Robert Gilbert.
He is survived by: his son Andy Depner (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kellan, Harper and Bennett of Brandon, Manitoba; and his brothers, Mike Depner (Emma), John Depner (Bernice) and George Depner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home (62 Main St N, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (155 Colborne St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3V4).
