The passing of Eva Broughton of Simcoe, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Bruce Broughton; her parents, Victor Ellington and Barbara Ellington; and her siblings, Robert and Birdie Ellington.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Broughton of Athol, NS.; her son Curtis Broughton (Sandra) of Fort Nelson, BC; her grandchildren, Lewis, Mason and Wray Broughton (Lynette) of Maccan, NS; her sister-in-law Syndee Ellington of Edmonton; and also, Barb Cotton (late David) of Delhi and Paul Broughton (Patti) of Greens Corners. She is also survived by nieces, nephews & extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
