He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion Aelterman; and his siblings, Agusta Feys and Gilbert Aelterman. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Aelterman (Mimi) of Bright's Grove and Larry Aelterman (Debbie) of Delhi; his granddaughters, Sara Aelterman-Rodriguez (Alberto) and Laura Renner (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Marcus, Holden, Erika Aelterman and Andrew Aelterman; and also Joseph Ratz (Dagmar).
