He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie "Marge" Smith; his parents, James (Rudith) and Smith; and his siblings, Raymond and Mary Myers (Peter).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Ban (George), Jerry (Berna), Raymond (Elaine), Elizabeth Guiler, Mary Catharine White (Dale Smout), Marjorie Lynn Cheadle (Mark) and Rosemary Lennie (Murray Small). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was awarded the Commemorative Medal from the Governor General for contributions to his community and fellow citizens.
