He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Cookson of Port Ryerse; his grandchild Chris Cookson (Valerie) of Jarvis; his siblings, Robert Cookson (Bonnie) of Port Ryerse, Marie Sinden (Larry) of Vittoria and Eileen Cassar (Frank) of Hamilton; and also, Brandon Cookson of Jarvis, Dale Cookson (Sarah) of Jarvis, Laura Lynn of Simcoe, Carrie Beth of Simcoe and James Cookson (Joy) of Simcoe.
