He was predeceased by: his parent Michael Butchko; his son Doug Pickard; and his brothers-in-law, John MacDonald and Ron Harding. He is survived by: his parent Katherine Butchko; his spouse Lillian; his children, Jeffrey (Maria), Jeannine (Rick Banks), James (Hollie), Kevin Pickard (Gwyn) and Janice; his grandchildren, Marcos, Alicia, Jakob, Grayson, Emmett, Sara, Hayley and Becca; his brother Harry; and his sister-in-law Evelyn MacDonald.
