He is survived by: his spouse Judith Ann "Judy" Van Kooten (Chapman); his children, Brenda Mannell and Robert J. Van Kooten; his grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Matilda, Priscilla, Archie and Zeke; his siblings, Grace Bolding (late Henk), Tony Van Kooten (Ruth), Gary Van Kooten (late Lorna), Johanna Proud (Chris), Rena Fisher (John), Mary Van Kooten, Ann Van Kooten and Rick Van Kooten (Deb); his siblings-in-law, Ken Chapman (Ginny) and Jerry Chapman; and his parent Francina Van Kooten (Van Kreel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
