Julia Lopes Francisco Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Julia Lopes Francisco (Simcoe, Ontario). Julia, born on March 18, 1952, passed away on October 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joaquim Francisco; and her siblings, Damien Correia (Maria), Arminda Cortez (Joao) and Belmira Correia. She is survived by: her children, Maria-Gorretti Francisco (Neilank) and Jason Francisco (Ashley); her grandchildren, Bodhi, Benjamin, Bryson, Sofia, Brayden, Lucas, Mason and Maya; and her siblings, Maria Curado (late Ramiro), Joaquina Correia (Antonio) and Belmira Silva (Manuel). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (211 Union St, Simcoe, ON N3Y2B3).
