He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice Matthews; and his siblings, Don and Lorna Austin. He is survived by: his spouse Hazel (Welsh); his children, Bonnie and Anderson; his son-in-law Scott Matthews; his grandchildren, Jay-Cee, Kyle, Breanne, Todd and Cari; his great grandchildren, Jedaiah, Zaia, Kaius, Callum, Myra Lea, Colby, Roxi, Koa, Aiden, Janelle and Marley; and his siblings, Wray and Shirley Bowen.
As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Villa Nova Baptist Church, or Phoenix Rising Centre.
