As Lathan departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lathan may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lathan leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jean Taffe; and his daughters, Susan Miller and Lisa Taffe. He was also cherished by his siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ferris Funeral Home (214 Norfolk St S, Simcoe, ON N3Y2W4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Port Dover Cemetery (309 Blueline Rd, Norfolk, ON N0A1N2).
