He is survived by: his spouse Maria Fernandes of Simcoe; his grandchild Leonor Lopes (Abel) of Simcoe; his children, David Fernandes of Hagersville, Julia Fernandes of Hagersville, Nelson Fernandes (Alisha) of Hagersville, Mason Garcia of Simcoe, Marissa Garcia of Simcoe and Nancy Garcia (Manuel) of Simcoe; his siblings, Marianna Caetano (Joao) of Simcoe and Luis Fernandes (Tana) of Simcoe; and his mother-in-law Maria Correia of Simcoe.
