Marion will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Marion by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Marion is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Marion’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her husband Don Slater; her sons, Mike (Jenn) and Dave (Melissa); her grandsons, William, Leo and Brady; her mother Barb Degrow; and her brothers, Bill (Sandra), Doug (Brigitte) and Bob (Sherry). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Simcoe Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 (200 West St, Simcoe, ON N3Y4K8).
A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the Simcoe Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to honour Marion's memory may consider a donation to South Coast Community Caring for Cancer.
