He was predeceased by: his child Martin Klosler Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Maria; his children, John Klosler, Kathy Hoy (Ron), Opa, Robert and Andrew Hoy; his brothers, Mike and George; and his brother-in-law Martin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Stedman Hospice, Brantford or the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.
