She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Bassett; her child Gord Bassett (Brenda) of Tillsonburg; and her siblings, Pauline Ghesquiere, Eugene and Allan Yaworsky.
She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Jamieson (Gordon) of Hamilton; and her sister Eugenia Lamb (Pat) of Burlington.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
