He was predeceased by: his sister Diane Chechak. He is survived by: his spouse Angela Baetens of Simcoe; his father Michelle Baetens of Simcoe; his grandchild Jeff Baetens (Stephanie Miklavcic) of Simcoe; his children, Tiffany and Brian; and his sibling Sharon Baetens (Ernie Gero) of La Salette.
