She was predeceased by: her husband James Ward; her parents, Henry Kohl and Pearl Kohl; and her siblings, Wilfred Kohl (Ada), Gerald Kohl (Nora), Joyce Cole (Edward), Madeline Dalby (Wray), Donald Kohl (Joyce) and Maxwell Kohl (Anna).

She is survived by: her children, Ian Ward (Jacqui) of Simcoe and Terry Ward (Ann) of Port Dover; her grandchildren, Carley Ward and Tera Matthews (Ty); and her great grandchild Lainey Matthews.
