He was predeceased by: his daughter Joan; and his siblings, Jack (Norma), Jean (Doug), Mary (Keith) and Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Watson (Agnes); his children, Susan, Peter (Lisa) and Jeannie (Doug); his grandchildren, Kale, Ryan (Kyla), Devin (Marcia), Kayla (Devin), Troy and Madison; his sister Rene; and his siblings-in-law, Diane, Barbara, Madeline and Stanley. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Pete's memory may be made to Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice.
