It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Esther Sandler Platnick (Simcoe, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Waas, Norman Waas, Howard Platnick, Sonia Platnick and Brian Platnick; her grandchildren, Jessica Levi, David Levi, Vanessa Jay, Daniel Platnick, Joshua Platnick, Zachary Platnick, Sofia Platnick, Jonathan Waas, Michael Waas and Benjamin Waas; and her sibling's children, Leslie Glass, Corrie Glass, Daniel, Jennet, Jacob, Naomi Sandler, Aaron, Tammy, Edward, Dana and Michael Sandler. She is also survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
