He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McManis and Louise McManis; his wife Sylvia; his daughter Donna Griffiths; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Alma Doan; his siblings, John McManis and Julia Boyle (Renee); and his niece Carole Playter.
He is survived by: his children, Dale McManis (Mike Edmonds), Cathy Stewart (Brian), Rick McManis (Janet) and Paul McManis (Brenda Hazelwood); his grandchildren, Carole Farrish (Craig), Craig Stewart (Jennifer), Micaela Santos (Marco), Ryan Edmonds (Ashleigh), Nicole Nagy (Rob), Erin McManis (Jake) and Sarah McManis; his great grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Leland, Lauren, Mariah and Brett; his sister-in-law Gwen Playter (Bud); and his niece Leanne Korsos (Andy).
