He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Cheryle; his children, David and Lynn Abbey; his granddaughter Grace (Brodie); his sister Vicki Lennon (late Gary); his nieces, Julie, Becky, Katelyn and Amanda Lennon; and his nephew Rob.

“I Ron hayne hired Ron to help me the year l was Commodore of the Pt.Dover yacht club and we all grew to love. Him .I found Ron to be such a great person and the best at what ever he did.We all have missed him after he retired. Rest in peace Ron and May your memory be a blessing. Ron and Bev Hayne.”
