He was predeceased by: his spouse Norma; and his siblings, Mary Halmo and Steve Halmo. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Randy (Charlaine), Rudy Jr., Dr Steve (Wanda), Mark (Cheryl), Geoffrey, Christopher (Rachelle), Michael, Joshua, Jarrett and Jenna; and his sibling Anne Crane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
