He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Afman (Dieleman); his parents, Berend Afman and Trijntje Afman; his siblings, Ada Stevens (late Ange), Pete Afman (Mary) and Bonnie Ostrander; and his siblings-in-law, Paulina Parish (late Jim) and Abe Dieleman (late Theresa).
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Afman of Central Elgin, Benjamin Afman and Elizabeth Afman of Simcoe; his sisters, Edna Prins (Jack) and Anne VandenBoogaard (Bill); and his sisters-in-law, Nellie Montgomery (late Bob) and Marie Carter (late Bill). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
