He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Nathan Thompson of Simcoe and Lincoln; his parents, Ken Waite and Sharon Waite (late Danny Mitchell) of Simcoe; his friend Shari Thompson of Simcoe; and his siblings, Laurie Loder (Kevin) of Simcoe, Jodie McLean (Jeff Barber) of Brantford and Scott McLean. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins & extended family.
