She was predeceased by: her parents, John Voth and Mary Voth; her husband Harold Johnston; and her siblings, Edward Voth, Mary Doerksen, Helen Brown and Alice Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Johnston (Patty) of Fergus and Diana Ferris (Gary) of Brantford; her grandchildren, Melissa Chanyi (Ryan) of New Zealand, Cody Chambers (Kelly) of Kitchener, Matthew Searle (Madeline) of Mississauga, Grace Johnston (Charles) of Hamilton and Cara Ferris of Simcoe; her great grandchildren, Ella Susan Velda Chanyi of New Zealand and Brooklyn Nora Searle of Mississauga; and her sisters, Lydia Reimer of Port Rowan and Jessie Tyrrell of Ridgeway. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
