The memory of Bertha Lumsden (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lumsden; her close friend Lloyd Logan; her child Beverly; her siblings, Milburn, Ralph, Jack and Betty; and her grandson Steven McMullen.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie (John), Nancy, Cynthia (Rob) and James (Shelley); her sisters, Amanda "Babe" and Donna (Eric); and her grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin), Chris (Leslie), Shawn (Ashley), Sarah (Chris), Brandee (Brian) and Bryttany (Brian). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lannin Funeral Home (32 Main St E, Smiths Falls, ON K7A1A2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:15 PM at the St. Bede's Cemetery (1641 Rosedale Rd N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A4S6). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the St. Bede's Church (1641 Rosedale Rd N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A4S6).
