He was predeceased by: his brother Stanley; his parents, John Edmunds and Marjorie Edmunds; and his in-laws, Jim and Gaye Spinney.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Gillies; his siblings' children, Michael Helmer (Dani) and Kalynn Helmer; and his sisters, Terry (Brent) and Kathy (Brian).
A reception was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2).
