He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Elmer Paquette and Rita Paquette. He is survived by: his wife Ann Giff; his children, Andrew (Alicia) and Brianna Giff; his grandchild Remi Giff; his parents, Faye Giff (late George Couch) and Gordon Giff (Cathy); his siblings, Shelli Giff (Ed) and Janet (Dale); his brother-in-law Michael Paquette (Patiann); his nieces and nephews, Kaily, Christopher Ogilvie, Kevin Crawford (Katie), Tyler Crawford (Dao) and Tim Crawford; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Secora, Walter and Everleigh. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Portland Fire Fighters Association or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or to the Smiths Falls Community Hospital Foundation.
