The memory of Carolyn Elizabeth Barr (Smiths Falls, Ontario), who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Carolyn Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Barr. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Mahon (late Arnold), Anne Cook (Gord) and David Mitchell (Louise); and her sister-in-law Betty Dalgleish (late Jimmy). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (Perth Rd, Beckwith, ON K0G). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's memory may be made to the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank.
